Perfect cup is a "BREW-TIFUL" cafe spot located near the Miramar circle, Panjim. The cafe is known for their classic breakfast and of course their coffees. Their menu also offers many other delicious meals to eat. The place is spacious, airy, and full of bright light!
I tried this refreshing "Peach-flavoured Ice Tea"with some mouth-watering"Cheesy French Fries"and"Chicken Pasta Carbonara".
Nowadays, a cafe is a cozy place for friendship in the big city. It provides a space to share, and sell, a moment to complete our day. In this way, cafes are part of the modern city but also represent what they are replacing: our own home.
Cafe "Perfect cup" offers an ideal place to bring your work to, because you could start your day with a nice cup of coffee, take a break for lunch, have some more coffee, and call it a day. I did see 2-3 people working on their laptops in the cafe.
Their staff is very friendly and offer excellent hospitality. It's open all day! Click here to view their MENU! Scroll down to see "instagrammable" pictures that I took at the cafe.
THANK YOU FOR TAKING OUT SOME TIME TO READ MY BLOG, I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR EXISTANCE.
The white sands dotted with quaint beach shacks and a tiny fishing village nearby is the beauty of Mandrem beach.
Mandrem is a coastal village famousfor its small but beautiful beach in the northernmost region of Goa. It is 21 km from the capital Panaji. This beach is quiet and peaceful featuring its soft white sand, few sand dunes, and shrub vegetation. It is sandwiched between two popular beaches in north Goa – Arambol in the north and Ashwem beach in the south.
A small creek meets the Arabian Sea at this beach. The beauty can especially be seen during the high tide time, that is when the seawater rushes into the Mandrem Creek or River. There are several bridges that cross the creek to the other side. A second creek meets the sea further south.
The period between November to March is considered to be a peak tourist season in Goa. It is also an ideal season to plan your Mandrem Beach visit as the weather remains pleasant throughout. The daytime turns out long and sunny, with little to no rain.
Visiting Mandrem Beach during the evening is an excellent time to enjoy the cold breeze emerging from the sea. There are also a few shacks run by the locals with their sunbeds where you can sit back, drink, have your food, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature. This is a great place for a relaxing holiday in Goa.

There is always something new to learn every day.

Vimium provides keyboard shortcuts for navigation and control in the spirit of Vim. Note: Google does not allow Vimium to run on this Chrome Web Store page and the Chrome New Tab page, by design. Chrome has some alarmist messaging around the permissions that Vimium needs to run. All it's asking for is that Vimium's javascript be loaded into every page. No need to be alarmed. Apparently, Vimium never talks to any servers and does absolutely nothing with your data.

"Color is a power which directly influences the soul." - Wassily Kandinsky.
The thought of getting a hair transformation has always been very scary and exciting at the same time for me. Especially when it comes to dying hair with some funky color. I have never bleached my hair because of the damage that follows up. Although I have tried to dye my natural black hair without bleaching them and the results obtained were flop every time.
One fine day I came across this legit Instagram page which sells hair extensions and wigs in India at a reasonable price, username: @onehairstopindia. At least for now, I would rather wear these temporary hair streaks instead of getting my hair bleached. As bleaching offers permanent alteration of natural texture, split ends, accelerated hair loss, weakening and breakage throughout the length of the strands. So without a second thought, I bought Ombre Purple Streaks from their website.
My purple hairstreaks are basically colored clip-in extensions (tik tac clip). Adding funky color to my hair was made easy with one-clip seamless colored hair extensions. It's very easy to use and the streaks do blend well with my real hair since the streaks are also made from real human hair of the highest quality, Although it takes a little effort to make it work by styling them. I bought a pack of four( four streaks ) of length 12'' from their website.
"OMBRE PURPLE STREAKS"
Overview: I have been using these streaks for a month now and without any hesitation, I can say that they do not fall off easily once it's been clipped properly, they are weightless too. The best part about these streaks is that I can recolor them anytime.
_
I always wanted to color my hair purple and now that thirst has been quenched! Also, I am so glad that I didn't bleach my hair for purple color because honestly, it doesn't really suit me and I'm over the phase of getting my hair colored without any damage.

Thalassa Greek Taverna | Greek In Goa
I believe that nothing brings people together like good food, I have always been crazy about cute aesthetic cafes and restaurants. I recently went over for lunch to one of the best Greek-themed restaurant - Thalassa. It is rated as one of the best restaurants in Goa.
Thalassa was started in 2006 and is known for its Greek food, sundowners and performances. It is situated in Siolim, on a waterfront property, where the water is seen meeting the ocean, Thalassa basks in the rays of its famous sunsets.
As soon as you enter the restaurant there is this beautiful energy which can be felt. With the sun-kissed, finesse Greek vibe, the restaurant with a view in Goa has diners swaying to both, soothing music and cool, gentle breeze at any time of the day.
The name couldn't have suited the restaurant any better as "Thalassa" is the Greek word for "sea", in greek mythology Thalassa is known as the primeval spirit of the sea.
Thalassa has evidently invested in "Instagram friendly" interior design elements apart from food presentation to draw young customers.
"Chicken fillet Souvlaki - chicken skewer with potatoes and salad"
When it comes to food, the stylish-yet relaxed restaurant boasts of an extensive food menu and a bar menu to match! The menu has a variety of Greek cuisine to offer although a few of the dishes do have a slight Indian twist. Click here to check out their food menu.
On asking the waiter what the house special was, he promptly said "Thalassa Special Cocktail". Honestly, I still can't get over how pretty it looked and it did taste amazingly good.
Fun bathroom wallpaper, neon signs and custom tiles are all features that Instagram users love to post. Thalassa has this beautiful full-length mirror outside the washroom which gives the mirror selfies a very vintage vibe.
Also, did you'll notice my new hair color? Stay tuned because I'll be telling you'll about my purple hairstreaks story in the next blog.
Amboli Ghat is a hill station, located in the Sindhudurg district of South Maharashtra. It is one of the mountain range in the Western Ghats that receives heavy rainfall and is surrounded by thick forest, waterfalls, and beautiful natural landscape. It is known for a lot of reasons, one of them being the waterfalls.
Amboli Ghat is also the last hill station before the coastal highlands of Goa. Amboli Ghat comes on the way when traveling from Goa to Pune-Mumbai or vice versa. The best time to visit this place is during monsoons, as the mountains are covered with clouds and mist making the Amboli waterfall very serene.
A picture of my mom feeding peanuts to this adorable little monkey.
Also while climbing the hill, a lot of monkeys will be there to welcome you.
Near the waterfall, there are a lot of small dhabas(mini food canteens), where you get to grab hot tea with some delicious Maharashtrian special food items like Misal pav dish which is topped with sev, onions, lemon and coriander. Other fried snacks include mouth-watering onion pakoda, potato baji, vada pav, and hot and tangy corn.
Amboli waterfall is a perfect get away for weekends with friends and family for people living in states like Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
Mahabaleshwar is a small town hill station located in the Western Ghats, in Satara district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It has pleasant weather almost all year round. It’s an immensely beautiful destination which makes it perfect for a short outing with family and friends.
Mahabaleshwar was my family’s first vacation after quarantine, it was a very random weekend plan as Mahabaleshwar is open for tourism but all the necessary health precautions were taken into consideration by us. It’s almost 8 hours of the journey via car which is pretty far but the long drive was worth it because of the winding roads and ravishing mountain range which made it an exciting road trip. Thermal screening of all visitors entering Mahabaleshwar is mandatory at the hill station check-post. Only asymptomatic visitors are allowed to go ahead.
Parsi Point is a popular scenic point with views of the Krishna Valley & Dhom Dam.
Mahabaleshwar is famous for its seasonal fruit strawberries hence the ideal time to plan a visit to Mahabaleshwar hill station is during the summer season that is from March to June. Since we visited Mahabaleshwar in the offseason we only managed to see and buy strawberry plant saplings. I did buy two saplings of them with few other cute flower plants from a local nursery, so far all the plants are growing fine despite the dry and humid weather of Goa.
Mahabaleshwar is a place of pilgrimage for Hindus because the Krishna river has its origins here. The Old Mahabaleshwar, also known as Kshetra Mahabaleshwar is a historical place and a village that is about 7km from Mahabaleshwar. It is a major religious site with temples namely Shree Mahabaleshwar Mandir, Pachaganga Mandir, Krishna Temple, Atibaleshwar Mandir, and more. All these templates indeed have very fascinating stories to know about.
Shree Mahabaleshwar Mandir:
The temple houses Shiva's bed, damru, and trishul which date back to approximately 300 years. It is believed that every morning, the bedsheet is found crumpled indicating Shiva's presence at night within the temple. This temple was built in the Hemadpanti style in 1215 AD as per historical records.
The Panchganga Temple:
The Panchganga Temple is constructed at the convergence of five rivers Krishna, Venna, Savitri, Koyna, and Gayatri. All the rivers converge into a small steam and flow out from Gaumukhi(statue of cow-face) into a stone carved Kund(water tank) hence the name Panch(five)-Ganga(river) temple.
The temple was constructed in the 13th century by "Yadava King Singhandeo”. Panchganga temple in old Mahabaleshwar is said to be 4500 years old. However, there is no historical evidence of this claim. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and has a beautiful idol of him. The legend behind the temple is closely linked to Savitri's curse on the Trimurtis, Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, who flow here as Koyna, Krishna, and Venna rivers. It is a major religious site and is thronged by devotees throughout the year.
Krishna-Devi Temple:
Krishna-Devi temple which is 1 km away from Panchganga temple and is built in Hemadpanti style, In front of the Krishna temple is Krishna valley. As per mythology, the Krishna-Devi river had jumped from this place.
Our next spot to visit after Old Mahabaleshwar was Venna Lake. Venna Lake is a man-made lake, constructed in the year 1942. Boating at Venna lake is a very peaceful experience and both paddle and rowboats are available for hire.
Venna Lake area offers tourist activities like boating, horse riding, cycling, and go-karting which are very near to the lake. Right next to the lake is the horse riding area and there are plenty of horses and a ride along the breath-taking landscape of venna lake with a mountain view while riding on red soil is really photogenic. The thermal screening of every person entering the riding area is mandatory. Every horse has a name, the horses that I rode on were Jackie and Yuvraj. Both of them very absolutely handsome. The owner of the horses told us that there are over two thousand horses in Mahabaleshwar and only five hundred are allowed inside the riding area on per day basics to maintain social distancing nom. An interesting fact about horses is that a group of horses will not go to sleep at the same time – at least one of them will stay awake to watch out for the others.
After your horse ride, Bombay Point should be the next point to watch the sun descend below the horizon. The location is famed for its unrivaled views of the night sky and has even been dubbed the ‘Sunset Point’.
My one-day stay at Mahabaleshwar hill station was pure bliss and I crave to go back to during the strawberry season!
